Thrilled to have finished these two G plan chairs today for a lovely customer. One is slightly smaller than the other making it a his and hers matching set of easy chairs…..Cute! The customers for these chairs were Inspired by seeing the six dining chairs we did a few weeks ago in Tartan (Thanks Gayle and Nigel) so they chose a mix match of the Tartan and a herring bone plain green tweed as a contrast for the arms and outside backs. Lovely Fabric sourced from Art of the Loom and I do believe the G plans were sourced from JUNK AGAIN!! Im especially pleased with how the wood came up on the swivel G plan chair. I cleaned it with a magical mixture of White Spirits and linseed oil and rubbed it down with very fine wire wool. It looks brand new!!! (I am literally turning in to my old restoration tutor from college!!! Oh Dear :-/)
