Throughout this lifetime, whenever someone has asked me how they can repay me for some action I may have had a small part in that made their life better in some way ... I have always suggested they pay it forward ... If they feel strongly about repaying me - I charge them, on their honour to help two others in like value of service and they have the rest of their lives to accomplish this. I have shared this little video before but it is a timeless and welcome reminder ... Life is not about keeping a balance sheet of income and expense - debts owed and repaid .... Kindness, Compassion and Altruism are normal expressions of an open heart ... to consider showing the innermost and delicate treasures of our hearts to the world may seem scary to most but to follow out hearts is how to make the world a better place and it all starts with me. Reach out at least once a day (make this a goal) to help another person ... even a kind word or a smile are powerful actions with great and lasting ripple effects ... being kind doesnt have to cost money but it does have to be honest and from the heart. Open your hearts ... for the scared out there, open yours for only a moment to help someone and then run back and hide again - but remember the look in the eyes of the person you helped ... and try this again tomorrow ... and so on, and so forth .... pretty soon, it will not be so scary.
