Throwback TV Thursday - They Didnt Make It This month, Throwback TV Thursday looks at television shows that for whatever reason failed to latch on and maintain an audience. First up is Kaz, a crime drama that ran on CBS from September 1978 to April 1979. Ron Leibman starred as Martin Kaz Kazimsky, a former convict who obtains his law degree while in prison and who works to help others with their legal problems, including murder. Kaz ran on Sunday nights on CBS, and followed Alice, which starred Leibmans wife at the time, Linda Lavin. Leibman won an Emmy Award for his work, but only after Kaz bit the dust after 22 episodes.
