Throwback Thursday: In honor of the 40th Anniversary of the EK Snake River Canyon Canyon Jump. The first Addition Sky Cycle had a small rubber front tire that unfortunately would come off the plastic rim, get caught up in the wheel opening and eventually it would break off. Later versions opted to not put the rubber tire on leaving just the plastic rim. The first edition also had a HARD black rubber nose to absorb the shock, some later models got a white rubber nose cone. I also believe they used a softer rubber in later editions. The first edition had the body painted blue in the front section of the Sky Cycle directly in front of where EK sat. Later editions they stopped painting the front area and instead gave you stickers (Decals) of blue or gold stars to place in this area.
