Throwback to one year ago today when I got the call I dreaded that ultimately changed my life forever. Our dearest Mother was admitted to St. Thomas Midtown for the last time before losing her battle to lung cancer on Xmas Eve. I often ask myself, how do my brother, Peyton Neugent Sr. and I keep pushing through with our worlds are so empty without strongest person we had ever known to exist?? Family, I will find the courage one day to tell you just how strong and fearless Shirley Winrow was. But here is the last picture of her on Thanksgiving Day with her baby who could do no wrong in her eyes! :) And one of the last pictures of my late brother Walter alive as he was very ill here at the time. But he managed to attend his last Delta Xmas Dance in 1995 as we supported Mudear every year back in the day! Pray for us as our first Xmas without her is fast approaching . #missingmylovedones #peytonitsjustusandtheboys
