Thursday I was responding to the UCSB shootings and assumptions - TopicsExpress

Thursday I was responding to the UCSB shootings and assumptions about people. Im still penning my thoughts further, this time on relationships. Theyre not finished, but for the moment, heres a related but stand alone story: Some years ago, I was at a costumed event, going about my business as I usually do. In this case, business involved speaking with a young lady. Relevant to the story is that the young lady in question is both impressively endowed, and at the time, was wearing a rather impressively cut bodice. As we went on about nothing I can recall now, a passing acquaintance of mine stopped and asked to take our picture. Which we readily obliged; characters gotten into, poses made, shots taken, what have you. I rather think it was our respective heights at that particular moment, what with me sitting down and the lady standing up, that prompted my acquaintance to cheerfully yell, in the spirit of the event, Now shove his head into your tits! A profound silence followed. The young lady and I stared at the chap in head-tilting bewilderment as he looked between the two of us in increasing puzzlement. The silence was broken when she murmured, Oh God. You really dont know, do you? I bit my tongue and took a breath before looking the confused chap in the eyes, saying, {redacted}, say Good een to Merry. My. Little. Sister. ************************** The moral, such as it is when a story of me is involved, boils down to, make assumptions about the relationships of other people at your own risk.
