Thursday, May 15th, the LGBTQ and ally community will come together for the 2nd annual Give OUT Day, and we need YOU to join in supporting the work that happens here at your Staten Island LGBT Community Center. The Center is a second home for many LGBTQ Staten Islanders, and continues to run programs and activities that serve hundreds of participants each month. Click this website to go to donation page: giveout.razoo/story/SILGBT As you may know, the Center is undergoing the process of spinning off from Community Health Action of Staten Island, and demonstrating community support from individuals is critical to the continued health and prospective funding of the new Pride Center. Show that having a local, comprehensive LGBTQ resource organization is important to you and to the greater community. Give OUT Day is THE time to donate in order to make that happen. There is a $4,000 prize for whichever small-budget organization like ours in NYC receives the most individual donations. Every donation made to the Staten Island LGBT Community Center through our Razoo account tomorrow increases our chances of bringing home this extra funding.
