Thursday News--- Mostly sunny with a high of 27 ---------------------------------------- Weight restrictions will be enforced on all county blacktop and gravel roads in Gratiot County effective at 6:00am Friday. These restrictions will be lifted after all the frost is gone and the roadbeds have dried out sufficiently. Weight restriction information for all MIchigan counties can be found at micountyroads.org. Weight restrictions may affect the timing of refuse pickup by Granger Waste Service. ------------------------------------- Investigators say there is no foul play surrounding the death of Saginaw Spirit hockey player Terry Trafford. Police had been searching for the 20 year old since last Monday. Trafford was recently suspended from the team. He left the Bay County house where he was living and he was believed to be heading for his home in Toronto. A state trooper found him dead in his truck at the Walmart in Saginaw Township, Tuesday. --------------------------------------- Liquor licensing would be streamlined and microbreweries could expand under legislation that has unanimously passed the Michigan Legislature. The bipartisan amendments to the states liquor laws overwhelming passed the state House and Senate on Wednesday and are expected to reach Gov. Rick Snyders desk soon. They would change the definition of a microbrewery, doubling production limits from 30,000 barrels to 60,000 barrels a year.
