Thursday Night Talk - Tala Mai..... hmmmm what would you do? Dear NIU, My good friends cousin has a new man. Ive been hanging out at my mates house since we were in College and his family are like family to me too. It took me a while to click, but I finally remember where I knew him from. My first ever job I had when I was 16 was at a restaurant. Hes a good 4 years older than me and I could tell he had no idea who I was. I only worked there for half a year or so and left for further study. The thing is this, my mates cousin has been single all her life. Shes now in her late 30s but has worked very hard in her career. She has everything to show for it too. Her own 2 bedroom house, nice car, no debt etc and this guy I used to work with was a well known player back then. He was seeing 2 girls at work, got one of them pregnant and left her for the other one. It was all big gossip back then. He ended up impregnating the other girl as well and thats the last I heard before I left that job. This guy has obviously failed to mention any of this to my mates cousin as she has said to the family that he has no kids either and hasnt really been in a serious relationship before. I had to bite my tongue before saying anything to my mate because Im not sure its my place to say anything. Should I say something? Do you think this guy is using her? She deserves to be happy but this guy has a history. Help please.
