Thursday, October 16: “The Lord will guide you always; he will satisfy your needs in a sun-scorched land and will strengthen your frame. You will be like a well-watered garden, like a spring whose waters never fail.” Isaiah 58: 11 (NIV) Today, was Ranch rehab day at the Lancaster’s. I thought I knew what the boys were doing but then when I got home for lunch – Dane shows me the work he did – he and his dad weeded my whole front flower beds. Dane worked – using his left hand, and he did an amazing job!! I love today’s therapy! We did some vision therapy exercises and to reward all the hard work, the boys went fishing before they had school. Tomorrow is a BIG day for Dane. It will be his first official day of 6th grade. He is GOING TO SCHOOL! We are excited (mom is nervous)! I met with the aides who will be with him and the school has been so wonderful. He will begin going for a half day on Fridays to get used to the pace and the schedule. It will be so therapeutic for him to be with his friends and to be able to be a regular kid. So asking for prayers for tomorrow – for Dane and us. And tonight, Dane has announced to us that HE will be making the post tomorrow night. Can’t wait! God’s got this………….Glory to God…Sunday’s coming……………
