Thursday, October 23rd Pastor David Okoye says: PERFECT TOWARDS HIM For the Lord God is a Sun and Shield; the Lord bestows (present) grace and favor and (future) glory (honor, splendor, and heavenly bliss)! No good thing will He withhold from those who walk uprightly. Psalm 84:11 (AMP) 2 Chr. 16:9 tells us that the eyes of the Lord roam the earth, in order to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is perfect towards Him. Gods criterion isnt dependent on how much a man prays or fasts; but on how perfect and blameless the mans heart is towards God. There is so much you stand to gain when you are totally committed to God. The text above states that the Lord God is a sun and shield. He is your light and your defense. Its impossible for you to be on the wrong path when you are in sync with the Spirit of God. God isnt miserly with his gifts and doesnt hold back as long as you do your part. Your heart is set towards God when your heart is only on things that garden Him. If you attend to the fathers business, He will attend to yours. A Christian who does only the will of the father will always function in present grace and favor; and is assured of glorious future filled with heavenly bliss. All it takes is a tuning. Tune your mind to Gods frequency and set your affection only on things above. Love Him beyond human comprehension. Remember God isnt looking for all; He is looking for them (the some) whose heart is perfect towards Him. Choose to be found of Him. DECLARATION: My affection is set on things above. I am forever graced because I do the Fathers business. I have a glorious fortune. Glory to God!
