Thursday, Sep 11, 2014: 17th treatment at UMMC in Jackson. Every 2 weeks, vitals and blood work are consistently good, and then I sit in a recliner for 3 hours to receive an infusion of premeds and 2 types of chemo. My liver surgeon then tells me that the number of cancerous cells in my body has reduced so much that the tumors Im looking at in the CT Images could be mostly dead tissue and certainly not as active. So Ill continue with the same chemo until cancer cells = 0. I leave the clinic with this awesome news feeling better and more energetic than when I got there - almost euphoric. Why? Because I have a God that answers prayers, sent to him by a large number of friends and family that support me and care for my family. Thank you so much.
