Thursday has been mostly dry, except for a few showers we had in the pre-dawn hours this morning. This afternoon has featured warming temperatures and not as much humidity. Clouds have also popped up, with hardly any vertical development because of dry air in the mid levels of the atmosphere. All these characteristics will change by tomorrow, with a moistening atmosphere, and rain chances for the end of the week and start of the weekend. Well have a quiet night and early Friday with lows falling to the upper 60s/low 70s. We will see the changes by Friday mid-morning as clouds build and some showers for to our south. A few showers may make it into the Wiregrass by late morning, but I think our real rain chances dont come until the afternoon, as unstable air gives rise to showers and t-storms. Nothing out of the ordinary summer t-storms is expected as far as severe weather is concerned. Highs will rise to near 90. Better shower chances exist for Saturday as the moisture in the upper atmosphere becomes more settled over the region. It wont be a whole day wash out, but you will need to watch the sky and be ready to see t-storms pop up during the late morning and early afternoon. Highs will be kept down a bit because of the rain/clouds on Saturday to mainly the upper 80s. Sunday we catch a break as the main trough moves out, so rain chances wont be quite as good then. Expect highs to return to the low 90s with summertime humidity in place. The start of the work week will return to a more unsettled pattern with rain chances both for Monday and Tuesday.
