Thursday thoughts: In the spirit and commemoration of a wonderful oral and written language we possess, I will post weekly quotes that I find particularly inspiring. And I hope you do too! "Art derives a considerable part of its beneficial exercise from flying in the face of presumptions, and some of the most interesting experiments of which it is capable are hidden in the bosom of common things." - Henry James (1884) Or as J. R. R. Tolkien (or Gandalf) would say... "Saruman believes it is only great power that can hold evil in check, but that is not what I have found. I found it is the small everyday deeds of ordinary folk that keep the darkness at bay. Small acts of kindness and love." How do these relate you might ask? My translation: it is in the small, unexpected, or common things that great treasures can be found. Where do your treasures lie?
