Time Management Tuesday: Tighten your talk. Tony Alessandra in his book The Platinum Rule classifies sales people as SOCIALIZERS. This means you have to govern your mouth a bit more than others. Tips for zipping it are: 1. Discourage people from calling you at random. Schedule a 1 hr slot for random. 2. Assign each client a time slot once a week. Make them feel special. 3. Prepare what you wish to talk about before you dial and stick with the script! 4. Work with a focus coach to get to your point faster 5. Write an accomplishments journal so your not tempted to share it with 10 friends. 6. Get a time clock and work with Diane Conklin who is masterful at time management. 7. Buy a Time Management program ... MESSAGE ME and I can tell you a really good one. 8. Hire people to do your talking for you 9. Buy a book on What CEOs say 10. MY FAVORITE...when someone asks you a question...dont answer...ask them a question in return. That way they are the talkers not you. Careful with this tip. Example: How much is your product?
