Time is a very important subject to God. We see in Genesis 2:2-3 God rested on the 7th day from His work of creation, blessed, and sanctified the Sabbath day from then on. Is God interested in the time His people go to church? Yes. In Galatians 4:4 we see But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son... There was a time prophecy that correctly predicted the very year and season that the Messiah of the Old testament would arrive on in this world. Jesus declared in Luke 19:41-44 the reason why Jerusalem was destroyed in AD 70 ...they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation. It is true regarding the 2nd coming of Christ But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but my Father only. Matthew 24:36 There we do not have a time prophecy predicting the 2nd coming but time prophecies have always been a part of the Gospel which Jesus taught. Mark 1:14-15 Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God, And saying, THE TIME IS FULFILLED, and the kingdom of God is at hand: repent ye, and BELIEVE THE GOSPEL. He is referring here to the time prophecy which predicted the 1st advent of Christ in Daniel 9:24-27. Hopefully we are beginning to see the emphasis God put on understanding the time prophecies.
