Time is the enemy of every Christian. It seeks to pull you away from the goal, to wear you down, to persuade you to take your rest. If you fail in your Christian walk, you will have been defeated by this single foe. Having found yourself as an Adamite on the earth, there is no escape. And once the trials of God begin in earnest, you will be locked-in for the duration there will be no rest. During the long days of aching dread, you will either give in to the voices of accusation, fear, and pain, or take your stand in faith and hope. This struggle will be your sole companion, and the warfare of your every hour. Life is a battlefield of endurance; it is a contest for perseverance and tenacity. To be successful you must develop these traits to perfection. You must be able to sit for years on end, staring into the evidence of failure, and thanking your Heavenly Father for his divine wisdom. For we are made partakers of Christ, if we hold the beginning of our confidence stedfast unto the end. If you do not finish a race, you cannot possibly win. You must remain faithful to the end. All your trials will terminate at precisely the moment programmed by God. Then you shall have your reward. For surely there is an end; and thine expectation shall not be cut off.
