Time to announce our new name people. From this day forward, Melbourne hardcore band Declaration, will be known as GANBARU. GANBARU is a Japanese word that is often translated to mean doing one’s best, but in practice, it means doing more than ones best. The word emphasizes working with perseverance or toughing it out. GANBARU means to commit oneself fully to a task and to bring that task to an end. It can be translated to mean persistence, tenacity, doggedness and hard work. We thank you all for your continued support of the band while we have been transitioning through this renaming.
