Tip 2 Todays tip for managing Anxiety and Stress is.... Practise 7 / 11 breathing. (Often referred to as Yoga breathing.) By becoming aware of your breathing and consciously inhaling for a shorter count than you exhale, you stimulate the parasympathetic nervous system. (Your relaxed state) It’s also natural in times of stress or anxiety to hold your breath or breathe very heavily or quickly, so 7/11 breathing regulates your breathing too. To practise 7/11 breathing. Breathe in for a count of 7 and out for a count of 11. This is also a great tactic for managing cravings of any kind and can be in done in moments.
