Suppose you are participating for an interview or a workshop.You should be having a slight idea about the surrounding and the people who you are meeting there.Think of possible topics that those people will come up with.Think[if you want write down]some ideas that you would discuss with them and plan the conversation beforehand.In this way you can avoid certain embarrassing circumstances which you would struggle to answer in English.Till you become really fluent try this method out.
