To All : Thank you again to all who continue to support NJSPCA in so many different ways. The NJSPCA responds to over 5000 ,cases of animal cruelty, abuse and neglect every year. The majority of our Agents, Investigators and Officers volunteer their time. NJSPCA does not operate an animal shelter but we support many shelters throughout the state that work with NJSPCA by accepting animals from our cruelty cases. There are three divisions of the NJSPCA, our Law Enforcement Division, Animal Welfare Division and our Community Services Division. We receive NO funding from the state, counties, municipalities or the ASPCA in New York. The NJSPCA is a self funded Law Enforcement agency relying on fines and restitution we receive in court from guilty defendants and the donations we receive from the public. Our current TNR initiative for free roaming cats needs funding from you. Please make the decision to step up and donate at njspca.org and make a difference for the animals. Truth be told, the national commercials that the ASPCA (New York) runs on TV actually bother humans and we hear from them. So donate today to the NJSPCA or a local shelter near you that you visit FIRST. So important that you see what your donation is supporting.
