To All the Young Revolutionaries Going to Ferguson, I send you Love and Light as you travel to Ferguson, but please know that you also have much work to do here. Your elders are sitting in houses with no water, no lights, vulnerable and under attack. Your children are under attack and You too are being killed, incarcerated and eliminated daily. I believe in the being responsive to each other and support the work in Ferguson to the highest degree, but you have so much that needs to be done at home and the ship is sinking and the work here seems to be abandoned. Yesterday, I canvassed with 4 women, no men, one blind, another one with brain cancer and All between the ages of 35 and 60. The day before it was just me. We have 700 houses to cover by next week and our you g warriors are AWOL! If you trace history and are a student of war strategies, you never send your soldiers off to war and leave the home front unprotected. I am waiting to hear, see and experience your boots on the ground in Detroit! We have the same condition here with Aiyana Jones, but we have been silent! Mike Brown, Trayvon, Jordan, Aiyana and All life should have value, but what will be your response to those that are still alive and dying slowly without water, food,electricity and gas in the neighborhoods of your city?
