To Larrys friends, family and colleagues...thank you for the overwhelming outpouring of prayers. They have impacted Larry in such a positive way. He is steadily recovering from the traumatic events from the last week. Because of the seriousness of the infection, Larry understood the need to amputate his left foot and leg inches below the knee. Larry has one more surgery scheduled for Monday, 5 May. We ask that all of your energy and prayers be focused on him Monday. After recovering from surgery, Larry will be moved to a rehabilitation facility closer to Danbury. Once we have identified the rehabilitation facility, we will post the information. We are certain he will be anxious to see his friends at that point. For now, we are limiting visitors and contact to family. Our focus this next week will be to see Larry through the surgery and prepare him for his move to the rehabilitation center. The doctors expect we will be ready on Friday, 9 May or Monday, 12 May. His family is with him and caring for his needs. Send your prayers and thoughts our way and you can expect to hear from him within a week or so. Thank you..
