To : Members of the Leisure & Recreation Committee (and all other Town Councillors for information) You are hereby summonsed to a Meeting of the LEISURE & RECREATION COMMITTEE to be held in the Council Chamber, Town Hall, Witney on MONDAY 30th September 2013 at 6.30pm (PLEASE NOTE CHANGE OF PREVIOUSLY ADVERTISED TIME) for the transaction of the business stated below. AGENDA 1. APOLOGIES FOR ABSENCE – To consider apologies and reasons for absence. Committee Members who are unable to attend the meeting should notify the Democratic Services Officer prior to the meeting, stating the reason for absence. 2. DECLARATIONS OF INTEREST – Members are reminded to declare any disclosable pecuniary interests in any of the items under consideration at this meeting in accordance with the Town Council’s code of conduct. 3. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION – Members of the public are welcome to attend the meeting. Any member of the public who so wishes may speak, at this point in the meeting, for a maximum of five minutes on any matter relating to an item on the agenda. 4. SHAPING THE FUTURE PROVISION OF SPORTS FACILITIES a) To receive and consider a verbal report of the West Witney Working Party meeting held earlier in the evening, and make recommendations to Council if appropriate b) To receive and consider the Town Clerk’s report Members are requested to bring their copy of the Sports Facility Study and the West Witney Sports Ground Feasibility Study to the meeting. 5. BMX/SKATE PARK WORKING PARTY MINUTES To receive and consider the minutes of the working party held on 11th September 2013. 6. SPLASH PARK WORKING PARTY MINUTES To receive and consider the report of the working party held on 18th September 2013. 7. WITNEY MUSIC FESTIVAL To receive and consider the correspondence from Witney Music Festival and make recommendations to Council.
