To Wayne, Luke and the Kokoda Spirit staff, I would just like to thank you so much for the effortless organisation of our trek on the Kokoda Track (14th-22nd Nov). From the very beginning your staff have been nothing but amazing. Thank you all very much! From arriving in Port Moresby I felt safe with the staff there to greet us and guide us on our way. As the nerves kicked in Luke was there to answer any of our questions and help us feel at ease. Lukes knowledge of the history of the track was outstanding and whatever questions we had he was willing to answer (even blond ones). The Buna Boys and Mac Man were fantastic! Its like they all knew when i was going to fall…. They saved me so many times and it really made me realise the relationships between the Fuzzy Wuzzy Angels and the Australian Soldiers was so strong and how important they were to our forefathers. The Kokoda Track has so much history that Australia should be proud of. It was a very emotional journey from start to finish and the services to remember out fallen soldiers were heartfelt and emotional. To complete the Kokoda Track on my 25th birthday and with my dad was an amazing experience that words cant describe. I cant thank Kokoda Spirit enough. Ill see you next year! Mel Shae
