To a couple of my heros on Veterans day... Matt Murphy, youre why I decided to join the Army in the first place and go EOD, to help keep my fellow soldiers safe. And its a very rewarding job! The strength youve shown is an inspiration to me. I love you and Im forever thankful of your service and the sacrifices youve made... youre a true American badass! I look up to you now as i always have, and i cant wait to come home and see you again and trade some deployment stories! JP Huling, I miss you more than you could ever know, you made such an impression on me in such a short time. Even though I was in the Army and you were a marine and you tried to act like the tough marine you were, we couldnt help but gravitate towards each other... You quickly became one of my best friends and I cherish the time we had together. I only wish we had more time to spend with each other... its the only thing in this life we cant get more of and you were cheated of your fair share of it... thank you for your service and the ultimate sacrifice you made for OUR country, I loved you as a brother and I know you loved me and my family too... I know youre in a better place as corny as that sounds and your probably rocking out to some Megadeth right now! I still remember you getting that tattoo on my couch! I know one day Ill see you again and I cant wait! You were an amazing friend and youre parents should be proud of the man they raised. And last but not least by far... Eric Rugg, you have been not only an amazing friend to me, but also my family, especially my little girls. We love you like family! I mean your my daughters God father for f^@$ sake! You are such an amazing person and I/we feel so blessed to have had you in our lives. I really wish the best for you in the future, and I hope we can stay connected throughout the years. Your one of the best men I know and whether you know it or not I look up to you as a man because of the strength youve shown throughout your recent hardship and the way you treat the people around you. I hope you know that you will always hold a special place in me and my familys heart. We love you and wish only the best for you, I love you as a brother and am so very thankful for having met you... and thank you to all my veteran brothers who have risked there lives for this great nation of OURS... I know we all love OUR country even if some of our country doesnt love us, we all share an intimate bond that most will never know...
