To address some thoughts from a few fellow DSM-ers. I started this business to support my drag racing addiction. It is a side business and not my primary job, like others in the industry. I would be very happy if it would grow into a full time job, but only time will tell. I love cars and I love fabricating things. Whatever I make is a product of a lot of though,testing and appropriate demand. If I make something, you can bet that it will be over engineered, that just how I am. I cut off the entire front end of a tube car because something was a degree off. Sometimes there are things I want to make but there isnt enough time, a donor vehicle to test, or simply not enough demand to warrant the time that I need spend on it. I have been making 1G crossmembers and mustache bars for 4 years and have sold quite a few of them. I wasnt the first one to make them. I made them the way I wanted and it ended up being better. The same holds true for the 2G crossmember, I am not the first one to make them, but I personally like mine better. I have spoken with Joshua Callahan from True Street Tuning and Fabrication and he is a nice, hard-working respectable person. They make identical 1G products (crossmembers and mustache bars) and thats okay. We have agreed that there is only so many ways to make a simple brace and thats all there is to it. I made the 1G stuff first and he made the 2G stuff first. Competition is good for the consumers, because it lowers prices and causes us to be more innovative and in the end, it is YOU - the consumer who wins. I have deleted the inappropriate posts from my previous thread and banned some people, because I do not appreciate their comments. I get emails every day if I can fabricate some one-off part, and sometimes I can and in other situations I simply do not have the time. I would like to politely ask that we keep the drama to a minimum. Three people make crossmembers, just like a whole bunch make exhaust manifolds (Shearer, Toxic, Punishment, ETS, JMFab, Sheepy, Full Race, etc). There is room for everyone. P.S.
