To all Scots who are voting no, I would ask you to consider a couple of things before you make this what Mr Cameron called an irrevocable decision. Im not going to harangue you or call you a traitor, youve a perfect right to your views, even if I disagree profoundly with them. My first point is to consider the question Woody Guthrie so memorably posed which side are you on? If you are content to be on the same side as the Conservative and Unionist Party, UKIP, the Orange Order, Democratic Unionist Party and assorted right wing bampots, if you feel that these organisations represent your ideas of what Scotland should look like in the years to come, then by all means add your vote to No. If you are happy, to accept the lies, distort ions and obfuscations proffered by the British media, most blatantly by the BBC then again feel free to vote No. If you think its correct for the oligarchs and financiers of global capital to have a veto on what your country can do then by all means vote no. More importantly, if you can look your children and grandchildren in the eye and tell them that you lacked the courage to trust in their future then again you should reject independence. Even more important from an ethical point of view, if you are happy with the bedroom tax, attacks on the most disadvantaged, with the poop being stigmatised and penalised for being poor then once again your better off voting yes. On similar vein if you where happy with illegal wars of aggression launched and supported by most Westminster parties, equally if you wish to spend billions on an unusable weapon of mass destruction your surely better off voting no. If on the other hand you dont think were too wee, too stupid, too poor or not even too scared to hope for better, then vote YES.
