To all my dear friends, I am back from Vienna, I spent a lot of time with my mother...... but she barely knew me. She came out of the hospital after 5 days, I guess it was not full blown pneumonia. she just lays in her bed, breathing heavily, barely eating anything, drinking a little- She ways 30 something kilos. I was able to hold her hand and stroke her. The doctora made a home visit and then said, that she was not in any pain, and it was the best to let her go naturally, which did not happen while I was there, but could at any moment- She had said for some time that she wishes god would take her. It is very sad for me to see this incredibly strong woman as only a shadow left... but she is 94 years old. It was also strange to be back in Vienna after 8 years, beautiful city, but home is here now. Sure reminds me, that life is temporary. Love and hugs to all of You Liza
