To all my environmentally concerned friends living in the States, I am collecting signatures from folks of any age and party who are willing to sign their name on behalf of environmental conservation. These signatures are being collected by the Michigan League of Conservation Voters, a non-profit, nonpartisan, grassroots environmental organization. While we work on issues from anything from sand dune protection to fracking and pipeline issues, we are currently really pushing for reducing greenhouse gases and emissions by 30 percent by 2030. Doing so will help keep you in the loop as to what the Michigan League of Conservation Voters is up to, as well as inform you of any volunteer opportunities in your area in the future.
