To all my family, almost family, friends, FB buddies, and acquaintances............thank you, thank you, thank you for all your prayers, well wishes, positive thoughts, ju-ju, etc. I had two surgeries, an 11 day stay in the hospital, long term epidurals, a catheter, numerous IVs, .......and came home on Aug 7 with no infections whatsoever. This past Friday I saw my surgeon for the first time since leaving the hospital, and got a Gold Star from him. He says that in terms of recovery, I am much further ahead of most patients who have had these surgeries. I have walked my scrawny ass off, which is what he prescribed, and it has paid off. I am still in a good deal of pain, and therefore am still taking a good deal of narcotics, but he says this too shall pass, so again let me tell you THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart.........with much love.......
