To all my friends: Thank you for the amazing birthday wishes today. Turned the big six-0 today. It is a little bittersweet, my sister-in-laws memorial service is tomorrow. All the messages from everyone has definitely picked me up and made me feel better. So much so, on Sunday I am going out for a mess o biscuits n gravy to celebrate six decades of surviving Type II diabetes (diagnosed 20 years ago today), triple by-pass surgery (12 years ago in March) and lower back laminectomy (3 years this past December). Yeah, every so often a piece falls off. But I keep plugging along. And, for this year, for 2/3 of those decades, Ive been married to the same woman with four children. My wife has been a bit of roller-coaster . . . thank goodness! Thanks again, everyone! This is definitely one of the best aspects of social media! Love and Blessings to All!!!!
