To all my loyal followers, many of you may have seen the news this morning that many pets perished in S.A. yesterday as a result of the terrible bushfires. I tear up just thinking of the losses of all the pet owners, including those who operated the facility. Please rest assured that here at Catshack, we do have a plan in case of such emergencies. Having lived in a rural setting most of my life I am extremely aware of the danger a bush or grass fire poses to my livelihood and my guests. My father is a life member of the CFA here in Narre Warren North and has assessed this property and provided advice on a management plan. We have been told that our facility is very safe but we have also invested in a fire pump and hoses and we have an action plan. Although there are some extremes one can never plan for, I truly believe we have done all we can to ensure that Catshack is a safe haven during the hot months still to come. This morning, my thoughts are with those who have lost their beloved pets. Nik
