***To all my musician friends in Vancouver*** Once again I have acquired too much gear and its time to clear some space and I would rather not deal with craigslist if I dont have to. Vox Lil Night Train Head - This is a killer little head, I ran a bunch of tubes through this little lunchbox and it sounds killer recorded, I think it has a set of Groove Tubes in it currently. Two watts with a headphone out that works great as a line out too. It has rarely left my studio and is in near mint condition. - $150 Crate Excalibur GX900H Guitar Head - Great sounding Head. Solid state, Clean and two drive channels, Fx loop, reverb, 90 watts @ 2 ohms. Its in decent shape, has a funny input jack that may need to be replaced but sounds great. - $150 obo Rexx Model 1602 Head: This is a great little CANADIAN made 100 Watt @ 8 Ohm guitar head, it isn’t light, but it is only 1RU! Amazing clean channel and distinct drive channel. George Krampera was the technical person behind Rexx Acoustics, formerly with Yorkville and currently with KV2 Audio (he is the K). George is credited with some of Yorkvilles PA gear like the Elite line. I believe he left when Yorkville was not interested in his idea for a high-end solid-state guitar amp. When he found financial backing he started Rexx Acoustics. The 1602 is a great two channel amp in a single rack space. They also made the 601 and 602 preamps that could be patched into the 1602 to add more channels. I believe this is a late 80’s model, it is missing one knob, and has a bent rack ear but it still fits into a rack just fine….in fact it has been in mine for a long time. These retailed for almost a grand new……$200 obo LTD EC400 - Typical mahogany body with set mahogany neck, bound rosewood board, flag inlays, black with black hardware, EMG 81/60 installed at 9 volts. This axe has left my studio once, and used for one song live. It is in just about perfect shape and plays great....could use a set up. - $450 obo DOD Yngwie YJM308 PreAmp Overdrive - In great shape, similar to a ts-9, and it already has velcro on it so it can go right on your board. - $65 obo Ibanez Roadstar II Bass - I believe this dates to 83. This is one of the rare ones with the sharp angled body (which I think is alder), maple neck with 2 by 2 headstock, rosewood board, and the single Ibanez humbucker in the sweet spot. It is passive wired with volume and tone knobs and a series/parallel switch. This was Ibanezs early attempt at a Stingray, and if it had a 2 band preamp it would sound just like one...but since it is passive it doesnt have quite the top end bite of a Musicman, which I actually really dig. I have had this bass since 2002 or so and will be sad to see her go but I just dont play it. She had a bunch of character before I got her and she has acquired some more while in my possession but she is in great shape for a 30 year player bass. Oh....and it has the ultra rare dark brown and gold metal flake finish. :p - $400 Hamer Cruise Bass - This one is an import, made in Korea, alder body in Cruise blue, maple neck, rosewood board, jazz pickups, Fender style bridge, wired V/V/T just like any jazz bass. I picked this up right before I left for Europe and I ended up playing it almost every night of that tour. Its in great shape and sounds great but I have a couple of other Hamers and cant justify keeping this one. - $400 Attila P-bass Project - Maple body, maple neck, maple board. Most wont remember the name Attila Balogh, but he was a luthier here in town who produced Odyssey Guitars until 82 and Attila guitars were the bolt on versions. This bass is a project....it is currently neck, body, pickguard, and Schaller roller bridge. It has a bit of a cool history and I have every intention of putting it together but if anyone I know needs a killer P bass then this project may be perfect for you. If it doesnt sell I will re list it in a couple of months when its done for over double what I am asking now. - $250 Avatar TB 153 - These cabs sound huge!!! These bass cabs are full range with a 15 Neo 3015LF woofer, 6 eminence mid, and a 1 horn with onboard cross over. This cab is 8 ohms and rated for 400 watts. This cab gets incredibly low with a very pronounced midrange. This would be great for electric uprights as it is a full range cab. It also makes a ridiculous drum monitor! I have used this cab for several rehearsals but it has never been gigged and is in great shape. It doesnt have castors. - $500 Hit me up with any questions or if you are interested in anything. Prices are negotiable and I am open to trades for other equipment. Feel free to pass this on to any of your Muso friends around town.
