To all of you new folks out there that dont know me. I will tell you a bit about myself. I am 51 years of age, married to a fabulous man, Chris DArcy, for the past 14 years and together for a total of 19 years. I am a Mom and Grandma. I have worked for the Heritage Society for 23 years and have been an active volunteer in the community. I have been a City Councilor for 12 years. I have chaired every portfolio at one time or another and I am currently the RDCK Alternate Representative for the City. I sit on the Hospital Board as your rep. I am passionate, opinionated and have been told I like to shoot from the hip. I take on challenges and have always spoke my mind and have no problem being the odd man out on a vote when I truly believe in my gut I should. I dont back down from bullies or naysayers. I will fight for the underdog and if my fellow councilors are unfairly challenged I will will speak up along side them. I will defend a persons right to live the the life they choose and I will always be a fan of diversity and personal choice. I am approachable and make the time to listen to the residents of the area.
