To all our Supporters; #politas Todays headline article strikes serious questions for anyone putting trust in following proper process and the integrity of the certain authorities we engage with. 1) There is NO tower planned for mt wellington at 75 metres. IF there was a tower of that height it would be for a lower foothill, obscured from view for many by Knocklofty. Our preferred design based on your feedback includes a 2.1km span without any tower on the prominent slopes of the mountain. See here: mtwellingtoncablecar/pinnacle#!the-route/c18s9 2) Tower heights & locations can only be resolved once we have landowner permission from HCC to conduct various tests. HCC have been unwilling to grant permission and so such detail is yet to be determined. When any details are verified, we have always endeavoured to inform you! 3) We follow proper process - this can mean negotiating confidential information with authorities. Almost all we share publicly goes through that process first. 4) At least 1 member of council has completely undermined proper process and risked the integrity of HCC by leaking information directly to a detractor. 5) This detractor have revealed themselves as desperate enough to use dishonest and deceitful tactics in an attempt to discredit us whilst we do the proper thing. 6) Details will be verified when we are legally able to submit a Development Application (DA). ...Many questions remain - who, when, how - and we urge you to please put pressure on the media and HCC to find out.
