To all the soldiers and those who have laid down their lives so that we could have lives of our own. This movie hit me in weird way tonight. I want to live a life worth living. I want to be a hero to my kids, my wife, my friends, my church, and my community. I dont want to do it half hearted anymore. I dont want to make excuses anymore. I dont want the dash on my tombstone to be ordinary. I want to leave a mark that will endure forever. Just imagine the life we could live if we lived it like a soldier...accept our battlefield would be this world and this life. Think about it. Think of how we dont do anything a true 100%. We talk the talk but we dont walk the walk. We get one shot. And that shot may be today...this moment. How are we going to spend it? Are we going to make excuses and die living the status quo? Or we are going to live fighting for those who mean the most to us? Are we going to be selfish or are we going to sacrifice? We can be heroes...just for one day.
