To all who asked me for frequent updates about my adventures at the Monkees Convention: I apologize for the silence. I can only pick up a wifi signal in the hotel lobby, and when I am in the lobby (i.e., when the vendors room is closed) there is a lively throng in the lobby and its very hard to get anything to load. When I finally get back to my hotel at the end of the day, its so late and Im so exhausted, I can do little else but crawl into bed. Sales are modest but encouraging. I may yet sell all of the books, or maybe not--and I definitely did not make a true profit from this trip. But the intangible benefits, the contacts made and feedback received and friendships renewed, make it all most blissfully worthwhile. To those of you who are looking out for me and have my back: bless you. To those of you who have come by to visit me: it was lovely to meet you. To those of you who have bought my book (either at the con or otherwise): Thank you.
