To anyone that is as big a sucker as me. Be aware that there is a new scam out there where a Microsoft tech support person contacts you, by telephone, to tell you that your computer is sending messages that it is in grave danger. I thought it was a scam but called them back. I did not give them any info but they did a check on the computer for Free. This scam is so good that they even put their phone number in the tech support for my Anti virus protection plan so that the call is routed to them. Their goal is to get you to give them money . I was fortunate & didnt fall for that. The Tech support for Geek Squad said that they have been getting calls for some time and that these assholes are impersonating Verizon, Microdoft, Geek Squad, and several other legitimate sites . Wished I could meet these pricks in a dark alley with a waterboard and a hot shot and my 357. Do not be a victim like me, tell them to go to hell.
