To applause the act of perceived BRAVERY of Zmurd Khan is nothing but demonstration of IMMATURITY. This only happens in our country. This type of scenario and conduct is even beyond imagination in a civilized country. In the given situation, in a civilized country, only law enforcement agencies are empowered to tackle this situation and no individual can even think of individual personal adventure. His foolish act not only endangered his own life but the life of so many people present there. His failed attempt to overpower the armed man was bound to bring some bloodshed and loss of precious lives had the armed man wanted to kill as was evident that despite opportunity he had not made straight fire. Who had given the authority to Zmurd Khan to act in this manner bypassing every rule, policy and state institutions. The role of media is also highly deplorable. Media is promoting him the only BRAVE man in whole of Pakistan oblivious of this fact that Pakistan is full of BRAVE PEOPLE. I am sure that we could manage a good number of people on a short notice to act like this before cameras. To demoralize an already demoralized police is no service to this nation. The subordinate police personnel are bound by law. They have only to act on the directions of Higher Authorities. They can’t act of their own. We can hold High Ups of police responsible for indecisiveness but to blame the entire police force or term them ‘cowards’ is not a just approach. On directions, personnel of law enforcement agencies even sacrifice their lives. We should not treat our security agencies in this manner. Unjust criticism will surely not only weaken them but also further demoralize them. Role of Media is highly negative now a days. It is beyond comprehension that what has gone wrong with this Media. When it will start act with maturity. It considers its fundamental right to interfere every where at any time and into the life of every one. It is high time that concerned quarters should immediately evolve strategy to educate and harness this unbridled Media otherwise an erratic society would be a sure yield.
