We are looking for a freelance Chef/Cook on a 70 Expedition, US flagged vessel, which is meticulously maintained in first-class immaculate condition. The position is freelance, but could lead to permanent employment. The vessel is private and runs with 1-2 additional crew. The itinerary includes South Florida, New England, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Prince Edward Island. The boat moves at a relaxed pace, allowing time to be able to enjoy the places they visit, to explore, meeting local people, get in some kayaking, hiking, time off, etc. Best efforts are used to avoid bad weather and rarely are there more than 1 or 2 guests at any time (with ample breathing room between different guests). A private stateroom guest stateroom with plenty of drawers, hanging locker, TV/DVD and in-suite head is provided. The ideal candidate will be one who enjoys the galley while creating good food.
