To be honest, I am glad this DAgang business is over! To Zille - The assumption that Ma Ramphele would have just danced to your tune shows how you viewed her. It showed you only wanted a black figure with struggle credentials. This was always intended to be a ceremonial position. Much the same as Joe Seremane. To Ma Ramphele - You have made a mockery of yourself, those who believed in you and your late partner Steve Biko. How could you allow your blackness to be traded as a cheap commodity. Did you forget the basic principles of Black consciousness? You have done the right thing by walking away from this superficial arrangement. You are better than this. I sincerely hope that you will take sometime to do deep introspection. You can not lead if you do not know where you are going. One day perhaps, you will be ready...but not today.
