To create awareness among the common people about consumer rights and laws on the eve of World Consumer Rights Day, Consumers’ Legal Protection Forum is organising a public meeting cum awareness camp in collaboration with Grahak Suraksha Santha, Guwahati on 15th March at S.K. Hazarika College premise, Bora Market, Zoo Road at 3.30pm. Dr. Nazrul Islam, Minister of Consumer Affairs Department, Govt of Assam, along with the Principal Secretary of the department Shyam Lal Mewara and Director of the department Rupak Kr. Mazumder will attend the meeting. Advocate Ajoy Hazarika, Chief Coordinator of Consumers’ Legal Protection Forum stated in a press statement that there will be a open forum session in the program where the victim consumers can ask question and discuss about the various day to day problem they have to face as an consumer. Legal expert of Consumers’ Legal Protection Forum will provide Free Legal Aid to the victim consumers in this programme. An awareness lecture on World Consumer Rights Day‘s this year theme FIX OUR PHONE RIGHTS will be deliver by Dipanjali Chetia , Administrator Consumers’ Legal Protection Forum.
