To explain better what happened; Ty is a nanny for my sisters 3 kids. They arrived at her house and him and the 11 year old got out of the suv, it started rolling backwards with the 5 year old and 8 year old still buckled in the backseat. Ty panicked and tried to get back in to pull the ebrake. His foot somehow got caught under the front tire and it pulled him under the vehicle. It dragged him 10 feet before depositing him in a ditch and running over his chest. He thinks the ditch actually saved his life. The truck hit a tree and the kids inside were unharmed, thank the Lord. My oldest nephew,11, stayed very calm. Ty jumped up and went after the Rover but Ian had him go to the house while he got the kids and called 911 then took the kids to the neighbors and got help. Im very proud of them. Tys foot is not broke, just ran over:), his ribs on the left are all broke and 4 on the right, his lungs were both partially collapsed with lacerations and severe bruising. They inflated by themselves and he has not had to be on a ventilator. His back has bad road rash and staples and his forehead had a gash down to the skull that they glued shut. He is extremely sore from the inside and out but he is healing quickly and doing well. The ICU docs said they received word a kid was coming who had been run over by a Range Rover and they were prepared for something much, much worse. They ALL are amazed that he is alive and doing so good. To God be the praise!! With James Stevenson
