To explain my earlier post about the protecting hand of God: I - TopicsExpress

To explain my earlier post about the protecting hand of God: I was on my way home from work today and apparently fell asleep at the wheel. I was tired, but I wasnt sleepy at all. I wasnt nodding off. I wasnt even nodding off! I just fell asleep. I left the road doing about 78 mph and the truck went airborne. Thats when I woke up! I had been listening to Apostolic preaching streaming from the internet, and the last thing I remember the preacher saying was, No matter what you go through, it cannot stop the will of God! When my eyes opened, I was in mid-air, and there was a drainage ditch just a few yards down the road that I was headed straight for. I knew that if I hit that ditch, it would be the end of me...no doubt about...and it was coming toward me fast! I grabbed the steering wheel while the truck was still in the air and screamed, Jesus! Help me!, because I knew that what was about to happen was going to be very bad. As soon as I screamed out the name of Jesus, my truck spun in mid-air until I was facing the way I came. When the wheels hit the ground, they came to a dead stop! I mean, it was as if God just set the truck down where He wanted it. No skidding, sliding, rolling...nothing. It just landed and stopped right there! There was not even any evidence in the grass around the truck that I had even left the road and driven through it, and remember, I had been traveling at nearly 80 mph! I drove back onto the road and headed back toward home. I pulled into a country store about a half mile down the road and did a walk around the truck. I didnt expect to find any evidence that anything happened... And I was right...there was nothing! God spoke into my heart and told me, See?! I wanted you to know that it is true! Nothing can stop my will from being done, and Im not finished with you yet! That preacher was right, too! Nothing can stop the will of God! Im thankful for the name of Jesus and for the power of His protecting hand!
