To my Christian friends:- The problem with the church today is COMPLACENCY. People are all too happy to love Jesus in their own little bubble- all the while allowing for people to wander around this world lost, and broken. If I am okay in my walk with God- then all is well they say to themselves all the while allowing the God they loves children to fall away. They have I-am-kind attitudes, and I-am-good spirits. And yet they have never reached into brokenness, dirt, and sin- got their hands dirty and pulled one of Gods beloved children out of their mess. They have put gloves on- and poked through the mess with a distasteful finger and good acts that are dead. But have not stopped to personally feed, to personally wash, and clothe these people in His righteousness. I DID NOT KNOW YOU Did He not say this to Peter. Do you love me? Yes Then feed my sheep [John 12:15-17] THREE TIMES. To simply love HIM is not enough- the love that He requires is a love for HIS people. Not only this but WHY do we encourage complacency and comfort? Why do we push down the people that rise above complacency and call them TOO RADICAL??????? OUR LORD DIED FOR US AND WE THINK RADICAL IS A BAD THING? He is the VERY DEFINITION of radical. Hebrews 10:24- And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds. He wants us to STIR eachother- not put out the fire with our holy water! Please do not say to me that you know my Lord if you dont even know His people. Please do not say to me that you love my God, if you dont even live by the same definition of love as Him. And PLEASE do not call yourself a better Christian than anyone else if you think that having a relationship with God is a title rather than an act of sacrifice, and love. Be passionate. Be firey. Be bold. Please, dont be complacent. To be an extreme one way or another is better than to be luke warm.
