To my dear blessed cousin, Brenda Pannell! Eyes! I took them for granted all my life. Had several major surgeries on my eyes earlier this year. For about a week after the next to last surgery, I was blind in my right eye due to a mishap during the procedure. For about a week I was in shock as I could not see in my right eye for I did not know if this mishap could be corrected or if I was blind for life. Well, as usual, I turned to Our Lord Jesus Christ and prayed, even as He did in the garden. " Father, take this blindness from me, nevertheless, your will be done." The next and fifth surgery was effective. Now, before going to sleep and upon waking each day, I THANK God FOR MY EYES AND FOR BEING ABLE TO SEE! Now when somebody ask me "How are you?" I often reply "I CAN SEE!" Thank God!!
