To my dearest friend David Cavender Jr who nominated me for the als ice bucket challenge. I wasnt sure what this disease was so I researched it. Then I thought well the whole point of this is to donate right? My heart wants to donate but unfortunately I had to give up my job to care for my special needs daughter. Allie is 12yrs. old and has Autism. I also have a 14yr old who when she was 3 days old suffered from a stoke due to a surgery that saved her life, she had a 5% chance of survival and is now your pretty typical 14yrs old girl. My son is 7yrs old and has ADHD. I know not nearly as severe as als but still a struggle none the less. And so instead of donating money (because lets just face I have a household of 7 and I am broke) I am going to say a prayer for those families who are faced with daily struggles. Much love
