To my family and friends in Christ: It is with both a grateful yet somewhat saddened heart that I have made the decision to step down as both Pastor and Apostle of River of Life EVMM. This decision comes after many conversations with God, my wife, and my spiritual elders (Efren and Steven). It has been almost eight years since I took the mantle of both Pastor and Church Planter; however, I feel that God now wants me to concentrate on the fivefold ministry of Teacher (Eph. 4:11). So, in short, I have made a conscious decision to make sure I am on the path that God has laid out for me and my family. On a side note, I am happy and ecstatic to report that I am stepping down with my testimony and reputation intact, which unfortunately, is usually not the case. In fact, I was able to plant new leaders to take my place as spiritual elders of River of Life EVMM both here and in Latin America. I know that they will do well since the ministry belongs to God and not man. So, please pray for my wife and I as we now have the arduous task of choosing a Pentecostal, spirit-filled church that we can join. I’m sure it won’t be easy but God is in control of all things.
