To my family and great friends (You know who you are). I want to share something with you. I have been keeping this mostly to myself as it is very painful for me to talk about. Yet, it is time to share. I am divorcing my husband of 46 years. I really dont want to discuss why - but trust me, I do have valid reasons. After 46 years of marriage, this decision was very difficult for me to make! For religious reasons, I personally dont believe in divorce. I finally realized though that I had to get my son Jon and me away from this situation. I would really appreciate your prayers, encouragement and big hugs! The divorce should be final some time this month. I am not sure where Jon and I will live. Our house is too big to be able to afford to live in. Although I really love the house we have been in for 30 years. I am considering buying out this (five bedroom three and one-half bath) house by paying half its worth to my husband and renting out the 3 bedrooms upstairs. Yet, I am concerned about getting renters who are trustworthy and clean. If I decide not to do this, I will be looking for a two bedroom two bath energy efficient apartment, townhouse or condo. The Reading area is not necessarily the only thing I will explore. I am open to considering any location. If any one of my friends has any ideas or suggestions, please message me.
